Das Ausgangsmaterial dieser Bi-Metall Sägebänder ist ein Zwei-Komponenten Werkstoff (Bi-Metall) erzielt durch eine Elektronenschweißung. Das aus diesem Werkstoff gefertigte Band weist in den Zähnen einen hochaushärtbaren, verschleißfesten Hochleistungs-Schnellarbeitsstahl auf, während der Bandkörper aus legiertem Vergütungsstahl federhart und ermüdungsfest ist.
